Scottish Claymores Gameday

The Claymores gameday experience begins around 12 noon with the pre-game power party outside Hampden Park stadium

The backfields provide family entertainment including face painting, merchandise, live on stage music and events including the Scottish Claymores Cheerleaders as well as competitions compered by Scott Wilson (Forth 2), John Collins (QFM) and Gavin Pearson (Clyde 1)

Tickets are available either by purchasing online before the game or at the game.

The Backfield festivities finish around 1:45 when everyone heads inside the stadium for the start of the game. Feel free to make banners supporting the team or your favourite players.

After the players are introduced, the national anthem is sung and the coin toss conducted allowing the game to begin.

The game kicks off at 2pm and lasts for 60 minutes of actual playing time (Rules Guide from Claymores Site). Including the half time entertainment - which can range from junior games to cheerleader displays to organised madness - the whole game will normally be finished by 6pm unless the game goes into overtime.

After the game, members of the supporters club can meet players and coaches until about 7pm when the buses usually leave the stadium.
