FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY...

After a year in the wilderness, the Sabres Seniors will be making a return to competitive flag action this coming weekend at Meadowbank Stadium as part of the 10th Anniversary of the Scottish Claymores World Bowl victory celebrations.

The west coast force in flag will be seeing action against city rivals the Glasgow Hornets, Carluke Cobras and Aberdeen Oilcats, with an Edinburgh select rumoured to be added to the mix also. Its certain to be an exciting day, with the Sabres looking to unleash their high octane offense one more time in search of that elusive first piece of silverware. Hope to see you all there! | Jun 18, 06 | 4:16 pm

*******2006 Update********

The Sabres are not participating in the 2006 SFFA league season at any level. For those interesting in playing flag this season we recommend you contact the Glasgow Hornets, www.glasgow-hornets.com who offer Cadet, Junior and Senior teams.

For those interested in playing kitted, you should make back to back Scottish Champions the West Coast Trojans your first port of call at www.west-coast-trojans.com, run by former Sabres Head Coach Gary McNey they are the future of Scottish Football.

Although they will not be in the league, expect to hear more on the senior team shortly | Jun 18, 06 | 4:10 pm
