Join the Team!

When it comes to playing flag, there is only one requirement as far as the Sabres are concerned, desire.

The Sabres team is as diverse as it gets. No matter what your background, if you want to play the game, thats what counts.

Age? Players at the Sabres range from age 7 to 50 somethings.

Experience? Some of our guys are seasoned campaigners in the kitted game, with experience at National Level, some have played at Uni, and some are getting their hands on a football for the first time ever.

Fitness level? Some players have sprinted for the country, for others the 100 metres seems like a marathon.

Trust us, with players travelling from Dumbartonshire, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire even Edinburgh the team catchment area literally covers the breadth of the country. But for all their differences, every player has one thing in common, their love of the game.

To be able to participate in league matches, all players need to be registered with the SFFA, a copy of the registration form can be obtained here
