A three year started at Wisconsin, Davis excelled at special teams finishing his Badger career with 83 punts returns for 1,007 yards and three touchdowns, 77 kickoffs for 1,778 yards and two touchdowns, breaking the previous Wisconsin record of 1,510 yards by Fred Owens (’86-89). Oh yeah, he also had 80 receptions for 1,097 yards and six touchdowns - almost as an afterthought! As a result he ranks third on the school’s all-purpose yards with 3,926.
In high school, Manchester (MI) HS, was a rushing king with 4,530 rushing yards (12.3 avg.) and more than 6,000 all-purpose yards and 69 touchdowns during his career. In his senior season alone, he rushed for 1,880 yards and scored 28 times.
Allocated from the Miami Dolphins, a good showing in Europe will help him break into the roster come September. For the mean time: Endzone baby!
