PRO CAREER: Signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in April 1999. Titans placed him on injured reserve in September after injuring knee and fracturing shin in preseason training camp in August.
COLLEGE/AMATEUR: Played left tackle for Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College...his team compiled a 10-2 record en route to a 34-22 win over Garden City in the championship game...was an All-Conference selection in addition to being named to the 1995 first-team Junior College All-American Team...was also named the Jayhawk Conference Lineman of the Year...ranked 3rd best prospect in the nation among linemen by SuperPrep...recruited by Louisville, Houston, Missouri, LSU, and Clemson...after redshirt year in 1996 at Clemson, started at center all 12 games of junior year in 1997 and was on the field for 675 plays...continued streak by starting all 11 games of senior year in 1998 with 679 snaps - third most plays on the team...started 23 straight games for the Tigers and contributed in 1354 snaps...honorable mention All-ACC in 1998, named Clemson Lifter-of-the Year for two consecutive years ('97 & '98) and named 1998 first-team Strength All-American...invited to play in several post-season All-Star games and played for the South in a 31-24 win in the 1998 Blue-Gray All-Star Classic...played for the South again in the prestigous Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama in late January, 1999 and helped team to a 31-21 victory...graduated from Clemson in May of 1999 with a degree in speech & communications.
